We are looking for a commercially driven Beauty Commercial & Product Developer to join Djerf Avenue Beauty during a maternity cover. This role is key in ensuring the continued success of our beauty product portfolio. In addition to product development, you will also be responsible for optimizing business results of existing products.

About the role

As the Beauty Commercial & Product Developer, you will have a dual focus, product development and commercial performance. You will be responsible for overseeing and executing the development of our beauty products, ensuring they meet our high standards from existing concepts to launch. At the same time, you will analyze sales data, identify opportunities for growth, and take proactive actions to optimize our existing business. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to drive the success of Djerf Avenue Beauty.

Example of tasks

Product Development

• Oversee and maintain the development of beauty products

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and industry partners.

• Be responsible and oversee product testing

• Continuously analyze the market for trends and innovations.

• Create and communicate product specification sheets and other educational materials internally and externally.

• Monitor data and customer feedback to continually optimize our products.

Regulatory

• Work with consultants to ensure all existing and new products comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Monitor regulatory updates and industry best practices for compliance purposes.

• Adjust products accordingly to meet various regulatory changes in the market.

• Revise products as needed to align with changes in laws and regulations.

Commercial/Sales Performance

• Analyze sales data to drive informed decision-making.

• Forecast product demand and manage inventory levels.

• Place and oversee orders

• Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and collaboration across departments, driving beauty initiatives and supporting successful product launches

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a results-driven individual with a deep understanding of the beauty industry, both from a product development and commercial perspective. You have an analytical mindset and can translate sales data into actions. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, working independently while collaborating across teams. With a structured approach and problem-solving attitude, you ensure that both product and business objectives are met.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the beauty industry.

• Experience in product development and commercial operations, including sales analysis and order placement.

• Academic degree in business administration, product development, purchasing, or marketing.

• Strong ability to analyze sales data and take actions.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Knowledge of global regulatory requirements (EU & US preferred).

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

• Experience in a global company is meritorious.

Location

The location of this role is in Stockholm, Sweden. You will be expected to work from our office in central Stockholm. Please make sure you have legal right or permission to work in Sweden, before applying for this role. 

Start date & duration

• This is a maternity cover position.

• The start date is as soon as possible and will be a one-year temporary position.
