About the role

As our Junior Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our organization. From recording bank transactions to managing supplier invoices and facilitating payments, you'll be instrumental in the day-to-day financial processes.

Key responsibilities include managing, investigating, and resolving queries within our order flow, as well as recording and reconciling daily revenue streams from various payment solutions (such as Klarna, Ayden, PayPal).

The role is also responsible for reconciling bank accounts and other transactional accounts, and overseeing balances and reconciliations related to gift cards.

The Junior Accountant will work closely with other members of the finance team, and will also collaborate with customer service, IT, and the e-commerce department to ensure accurate data flows.

Part of the role involves contributing to the development and improvement of accounting routines related to revenue, as well as providing support during critical financial periods such as month-end closings and audits.

The position reports to the CFO.

Examples of tasks

• Manage and accurately record company bank transactions
• Communicate effectively with payment providers and collect supporting documents
• Balance incoming customer payments across various platforms and balance accounts
• Handle supplier invoices and prepare payments
• Support month-end and year-end closings

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• 1-3 years years experience in finance or accounting (experience in e-commerce or retail is an advantage).
• Understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Excel and other relevant accounting tools
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with Business Central is a plus.

As a vital member of our team, you will be based at our vibrant office in the heart of Stockholm. Please note that this position requires on-site presence and remote work arrangements are not applicable. Please make sure you have the legal right or permission to work in Sweden, before applying for this role.
